Violet’s whole world has shifter and she is completely lost. She thought she had found a terrific boyfriend, had a loving family but it was all shattered within moments of one another. Coming to terms that her father was abusive to her mother has caused a stir inside her that is untamable. The only balm is Elden but he is completely off limits.
Elden wants Violet but it goes against everything in him to go after what he wants. Violet is the stepdaughter to his MC brother Swiss. He should stay away, but every time she needs him he reaches out or is there. He doesn’t cross the line, until it becomes to unbearable to stay away. What happens next will have everyone in a tailspin. Trust will be shattered, fences will need mended but what comes next will have everyone questioning who they can trust.
I liked most of this one. I thought it was a bit angsty in the beginning. Once Elden and Violet are out in the open it is quick paced. Definitely will be reading more in this series.
