One moment Fiona was with the love of her life, Brandon the next he was swept away in a flood. Two years later, Fiona is trying to move on but no one measures up to how it was with Brandon. She catches a glimpse of Brandon, but something has changed. Brandon fears being with Fiona will put her in harm, but her faith in him has him questioning staying away.
Without revealing too much of what happened to Brandon, it is a paranormal romance. I thought this had potential but had a hard time understanding why he would purposely stay away when she was so devastated.
