Indigo Ridge (The Edens, #1)Indigo Ridge by Devney Perry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Winslow Covington just arrived in Quincy, Montana as the new chief of police. Wanting to let loose the night before she meets the town she heads to a bar where she ends up meeting Griffin Eden. Little does Winslow know that the man she thought was from out of town is actually a man whose family are one of the founding families. What was supposed to be a one night stand leads to several no strings attached encounters. When Winslow is called onto the Eden property to investigate another suicide, she questions if what she is really seeing is a suicide causing a potential rift between herself and Griffin. As each one of the meetups becomes a bit more like a relationship, could she lose everything she is building with Griffin or will he stand by her side?

This was fantastic. I was pulled in right away and could not put the story down. I was really thrilled with Winslow, there is a lot of pressure to her job but she does it and doesn’t stand down
when faced with confrontation. Griffin oozed power and he had his reasons to initially shy away from a relationship, but he can’t help falling for Winslow. Terrific read.
