Brown-Eyed Girl (Travis Family, #4)Brown-Eyed Girl by Lisa Kleypas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Avery Crosslin runs a tight ship as a wedding planner, she is busy building her business with her sister and has no interest in dating. Avery was burned and with an absent father, she doesn’t trust men. When she meets Joe Travis she doesn’t deny the attraction but he wants more than a one night stand. When she is hired to plan another wedding she ends up back in Joe’s life and he has a plan of knocking down those walls she has safely guarded herself in. Avery is going to have to decide what she truly wants out of life before it is too late.

The minute Joe came into the book he oozed manly man, I pictured Sam Elliot for some reason. I felt for Avery because she is afraid but also has a blunt way of trying to protect herself despite the advice of those close to her. Another wonderful romantic story by Lisa Kleypas.
