Making Bad ChoicesMaking Bad Choices by Rita Stradling
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cassie’s world ended when her mother died and now she has to move from LA to Colorado and live with her stepfather. Cassie hates her stepbrother Culter and she is sure he feels the same. However when he arrives and offers to drive her to her new home she finds that he treats her with care. Starting a new school mid year should be trying but Culter, again, takes her under his wing. The messages she is getting from Culter are mixed and her feelings for him are anything but sisterly. What happens when their feelings for one another are spoken and how will everyone surrounding them feel about it?

This was quite a bit different because initially you can’t tell which way the story is going. Cassie is a fighter, she is trying to do the best she can under the circumstances I found her character believable. Culter is broody and you sense his feelings for Cassie but are unsure at the same time. Just to put it out there they are not related by blood. Very good book.
