Reid Atkins was taken in with the Force pack, he has worked hard to become a Doctor so that he could return home and work for the Pack. Reid didn’t expect to meet his mate so soon and when he meets Jodie Turner, he knows instantly she is his mate.
Jodie only returned home to see her dying father. When her brothers attack her she ends up in the care of the Force pack who are angling to get her to stay with Reid. Jodie though has secrets about what she is and she doesn’t want her mess on the steps of others, especially her mate even though she is determined to not mate with him.
Everything is not what it seems though and Jodie and Reid need to come together in order to have any type of future life. When Jodie finally gives in she finds the one thing she has always been missing, love.
I was disappointed in this one. Jodie was not warm at all and I found her continued obstinate behavior irritating. Reid was sweet and Jodie continually lashed out at him. Story was muddled with a bunch of other things and jumped all over. I’m a fan but this was not one of the better books of hers.
