Undead and Unwed (Undead, #1)Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Betsy Taylor didn’t know she was going to die, but she did. When she wakes up in the morgue she can’t believe the state of her clothes and shoes or the fact that she is dead. After a few failed attempts to get dead to the point of it being final, she realizes she is a vampire. Betsy goes about life just as she always had and lets her friend and family know she is alive, dead but alive. However, when she is abducted by a vampire who wants her to declare her loyalty to him, she wants none of it. Betsy doesn’t realize that she is rare and foretold to be Queen. Eric Sinclair a sexy vampire who seems to want Betsy on a more personal basis is trying to get her to understand the rules of being a vampire. However, Betsy has her own ideas and sometimes they get her in more trouble than she understands.

Delightful. I thought this is was a hoot. Betsy has no clue what she is doing and definitely does not want to be Queen. Sinclair is delightful he has a bit of bad boy and a ton of charisma. Entertaining, looking forward to more in this series.
