Double Tap (Code 11-KPD SWAT, #2)Double Tap by Lani Lynn Vale
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Nico knew Georgia was meant to be his one day but because she was too young he waited and lived his life joining the Navy. During that time unfortunately Georgia’s life shifted in an unforgivable way and had her leaving town, eight years later she is back. Nico is known as a quiet man, one who does not smile a lot and keeps everything close to his chest, with Georgia though everything is different. Everything should be wonderful and the new couple should be headed to happily ever after, but a case Nico worked on has someone out to hurt him and those he keeps close. Can he protect Georgia as well as do his job as a SWAT offficer?

Outstanding story, this is a bit of a tear jerker. Georgia’s back story is horrific, I thought she was a brilliant heroine who rebuilt her life in ways you could not imagine. Nico and Georgia are terrific together, they settle one another. Loved the whole idea of this story, another great read by Lani Lynn Vale.
