Down and OutDown and Out by Kelley R. Martin

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Declan Whitmore is pure bad boy, he has a countless string of women who know the rules, he can party hard, and he fights an an underground fighting ring. Declan doesn’t do relationships, when a women begins to get clingy, he cuts her loose.

When Savannah Ryan shows up at his gym wanting a job, his first inclination is no. However the waif like woman, who is stunning, looks like she needs a break. Declan hires Savannah and when he realizes she is living out of her car, he moves her in. The more they spend time together, the more Declan is thinking he might want a relationship especially with Savannah.

Savannah however has not had an easy life and she doesn’t know how to trust someone, even if she wants too. As they both enter uncharted territories, they both make mistakes on the way but part of falling in love is being able to weather any storm that comes your way.

Wonderful banter between Declan and Savannah. This had a bit of grit and humor to it. Very entertaining, definitely worth picking up.
